    IMPORTANT TEXAS ROAD TESTING INFO:

Before taking your road test with AK Driving School or the Department of Public Safety (DPS), it is mandatory by Texas state law that all individuals must watch the appropriate instructional video. This requirement applies to all ages and must be completed prior to the road test.
Certificate of Completion: Upon watching the designated video, you will receive a certificate of completion. This certificate must be presented to a Texas DPS Authorized Road Test Examiner within 90 days of issuance to be eligible for the road test.
For Individuals 25 and Older: Currently, the video specifically for those 25 years and older is still in production. Until it is available, individuals in this age group should watch the video designated for those aged 18 to 24. This will be accepted as a valid prerequisite for the road test.
Compliance is Crucial: Failure to present the required certificate of completion may result in the postponement or cancellation of your scheduled road test. Ensure that you complete this step well in advance of your test date to avoid any delays.
