Privacy.
The student file stays with this school.
AK Driving School collects personal information because Texas requires a student file for the course and the license. The school does not sell that information.
What the school collects
- Name, address, phone number, and date of birth.
- Dates of the classroom and the driving lessons.
- A copy of the course certificate.
- The sign-up agreement. If a parent signs for a teen, the parent is part of that agreement.
You pay at the school. This website does not take card numbers.
Who can receive it
The school does not give a named student record to other people, other schools, or advertisers.
The state licensing office, TDLR, gets the course certificate information within 15 days.
A road test at this school is given so DPS can issue the license.
A police officer or a court can require the school to share the record.
The student can consent in writing. Under 18, a parent or guardian signs too.
The vendor
Driving School Desk hosts this website for AK Driving School and runs the booking page. Details entered there are used to schedule with the school. Driving School Desk does not sell them, and does not give them to anyone except the school.
This website stores nothing you type. There is no advertising tracker on it. Booking happens on a separate page.
How long
The school keeps student records for at least 3 years. Records from the last 12 months stay available at the school.
Ask the school
Call or text, or send an email, to ask about a student file.
